Tinubu returns to Nigeria after weeks of hysteria on whereabouts

After weeks of political hysteria on his whereabouts, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to Nigeria Thursday from the United Kingdom.

The private jet conveying the APC candidate touched down in Abuja Thursday evening.

Tinubu’s absence from the Nigerian political scene had been a subject of concern to many, especially after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) flagged off the presidential campaigns for the 2023 presidential election, on September 28.

He also did not appear at the Peace Agreement signing ceremony in Abuja, a day after the INEC campaign flag off.
