President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the naming of the Railway Complex in Agbor, Delta State, after former president, Goodluck Jonathan.
Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, disclosed this on his Twitter handle Saturday, while also announcing the test running of new coaches on the just completed Itakpe-Warri standard gauge rail line.
Amaechi described the Agbor Station Complex as the largest station and operational hub of the Itakpe-Warri line.
“Today, we continued test-run of our new coaches on the completed Itakpe-Warri standard gauge rail line.
“We’ve named the largest station on this route – the Agbor railway facility and station after former President Goodluck Jonathan,” Amaechi tweeted.
The station, according to the minister, will now be known as Goodluck Jonathan Railway Station and Complex.
