When a handshake goes beyond the elbow…
President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo introducing a new style of ‘Coronavirus handshake’. It was at Wednesday dinner hosted by the President, to receive high level participants of the “Going for Growth” Round Table, organised by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), at the State House, Abuja.
Hopefully this new found handshake style remains a friendly gesture in the spirit of the coronavirus season and does not go beyond the elbow level. The consequence of the concluding part of the African proverb may be dire for the country.
