Flights resume at Kaduna airport months after terror attack

A security guard attached to the Kaduna International Airport was shot dead Saturday when suspected terrorists attacked the airport.

The victim, Shehu Na’Allah, identified as a staff of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), was said to be patrolling around the airport’s runway when he was killed.

The airport manager, Mrs Amina Salami, said that the terrorists invaded the airport through the perimeter fence from a nearby forest at about 1pm and started shooting sporadically, apparently to scare the workers.
