Court orders Secondus to return as PDP Chairman

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended Honourable Ndudi Elumelu (PDP, Delta) and others who were announced as principal officers of the minority party by the House Speaker Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, on

Hon. Elumelu

Wednesday.

The National Working Committee (NWC) of PDP suspended Elumelu and the six others over insubordination of the party’s interest.

It would be recalled that the plenary session of the House of Representatives was brought to abrupt end following the rancour that ensued after Hon. Gbajiabiamila announced a list of minority principal officers other than the list the PDP said it sent to the Speaker.

The PDP’s list had Hon. Kingsley Chinda (PDP, Rivers) as its choice candidate for Minority Leader.
