JUST IN: Aregbesola shuns Osun election

Former Governor of Osun State and Nigeria’s Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has shunned the ongoing governorship election in the state.

RELIABLESOURCENG.COM learnt that the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain is out of the country and therefore will not be voting.

Daily Trust reports that Aregbesola, who has been having a running battle with his former Chief of Staff and successor, the incumbent governor, Gboyega Oyetola, is currently in Germany.

A media aide to the minister, Jane Osuji, confirmed that Aregbesola is not in the country at present.

Osuji said the Minister was in Germany representing the country at a programme.
