JUST IN: APC shifts presidential primary

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has moved the date for its presidential primary election to choose a candidate for the 2023 general election.

The primary earlier scheduled for Sunday, May 29 – Sunday, May 30, 2022 will now hold between June 6 and June 7, 2022, in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Friday announced a six-day window to allow political parties conclude their outstanding primary elections. INEC said the window will open between June 4 and 9 2022.
