Business Hallmark holds town hall meeting on Nigeria’s infrastructure

The Business Hallmark Public Policy Forum says it is organising a special town hall meeting on tackling Nigeria’s infrastructural deficit, as part of event to evaluate the sixth-year anniversary of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

The event tagged, ‘Nigeria’s Infrastructural Revolution; Road to a New Future’, is scheduled to hold on May 25, 2021, at Shehu Musa YarAdua Centre in Abuja.

Sir Mark Wabara, Chairman, Business Hallmark Public Policy Forum, who briefed the press on the event, last Wednesday, said it would feature a select cast of “outstanding performers, agents of the infrastructural transformation at federal, state and private sector levels”.

Some of those, according to Wabara, include Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika; Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola and Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed.

There would also be select industry players and members of the civil society groups at the event to be chaired by elder statesman, Chief John Odigie Oyegun, former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“This blue-ribbon cast will be grilled by none less than the celebrated talk show host Stephen Sackur of the BBC HardTalk fame and renowned economist and public policy commentator, our own Dr Alex Otti,” Wabara, a former bank chief disclosed.
