Buhari, Osinbajo take COVID-19 vaccine – PICTURES
President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo have, on Saturday, received the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, a day after the federal government launched the vaccination exercise in the country.
The President and his vice took turns to take the shots at the new Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, in a ceremony witnessed essentially by members of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19.

He thanked the COVID-19 PTF, frontline health workers and all other groups, including donor agencies, that have worked to keep the number of fatalities arising from the global pandemic low in Nigeria.
Buhari encouraged every eligible Nigerian to present themselves for vaccination, in accordance with the order of priority already mapped.
