Agege seals mosque where worshippers attacked Covid-19 Task Force
Officials of Agege Local Government Area of Lagos State have sealed up the mosque where worshippers attacked members of the state’s Covid-19 Task Force, who were at the mosque on sensitisation exercise on Tuesday.
The mosque was sealed for violating the state government’s order on religious and other gatherings exceeding 25 persons, in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
The local government officials, it was gathered, used the opportunity to fumigate the mosque.
This update was announced on the Twitter handle of Gawat Jubril, SSA to the Lagos State Governor on New Media.
