Two hundred and fifty-six Nigerians evacuated from Dubai, United Arab Emirates finally landed at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, Wednesday night.

Foreign Affairs Minister Geoffrey Onyeama confirmed their arrival after the Emirates aircraft conveying them had to make an air return back to Dubai.

Onyeama said a Nigerian woman aboard the aircraft had gone into labour and was subsequently delivered of a baby boy.

The flight which had been in the air for barely 30 minutes had to make a return to Dubai where the woman and her baby were disembarked.
