The federal government has announced the resumption of international flights in and out if the country.

Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, who disclosed this on his Twitter handle today, August 17, said international flights will resume from August 29.

According to the minister, flights will only be restricted to Lagos and Abuja airports.

Sirika tweeted: “Glad to announce the resumption of international flights from the 29th of August, 2020.

“Beginning with Lagos and Abuja as we did with the domestic flight resumption.

“Protocols and procedures will be announced in due course.

“We thank you for your patience.”
