Nigeria records 195 new Coronavirus cases, 3,145 confirmed nationwide

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says 195 new confirmed cases and five COVID-19 related deaths were recorded in Nigeria as of the 6th of May 2020.
NCDC also announced that 21,208 samples have been tested across the country. From the update published by the agency, Cross River and Kogi states are yet to record any case of coronavirus.
“Till date, 3,145 cases have been confirmed, 534 cases have been discharged and 103 deaths have been recorded in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory,” NCDC stated on its COVID-19 micro site.

The 195 new cases are reported from 12 states and the FCT. They are: Lagos (82), Kano (30), Zamfara (19), Sokoto (18), Borno (10), FCT (9), Oyo (8), Kebbi (5), Gombe (5), Ogun (4), Katsina (3), Kaduna (1) and Adamawa (1).
