Lagos deploys equipment to fumigate entire state

Lagos State Government is not relenting in her effort to combat the coronavirus infection that is gradually grinding governance to a halt in the country and changing the way we live.

As part of the strategic measures to win the war against the global pandemic, the state is embarking on total fumigation of the state to disinfect the environment.

Lagos has so far recorded 32 confirmed coronavirus cases out of the total 51 confirmed cases recorded in the country.

“To ensure we keep our environment safe and curtail the contagion of #COVID19, we are deploying disinfectant equipment to fumigate the entire state,” Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced in his Twitter handle Thursday.

He further stated: “These fumigation machines, will be deployed to every part of the metropolis for sterilization of our public spaces & surfaces.

“We are very aggressive in our efforts to combat the novel coronavirus in the State.

“We all have to #TakeResponsibility and do our part in ensuring we remain safe and healthy.”
