36-year-old dies of Coronavirus in Lagos

The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof Akin Abayomi, has announced the death of a coronavirus patient in the state.
Prof Abayomi while giving update on the Covid-19 development in the state said the 36-year-old male died Saturday at a private facility in Lagos.
“We lost a #COVID19 patient; a 36 year old Nigerian, male who died in a private facility on 4th April, 2020.
“Total number of #COVID19 patients who have died are now 2,” the commissioner announced on his Twitter handle.

He said with six (6) new cases confirmed in the state on Saturday, the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the state now stands at 115.
According to him a patient was discharged Saturday bringing the total number of cases that have fully recovered and discharged in the state to 24.
He added that two cases have been evacuated from the state.
