US police question actor Chris Attoh over wife’s murder

Police in the United States have questioned Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh, over the murder of his wife, Bettie, recently.
Attoh was reported to have been invited for questioning by the U.S police as part of the ongoing investigation into Bettie’s death.
According to ABC’s affiliated digital publishers, WJLA.com, investigators are casting a wide net to try to find the suspect behind Bettie’s death.
A Greenbelt Police spokesperson, George Mathews said that some cryptic tweets Attoh shared about relationship and loyalty some hours before Bettie was murdered, were all being considered in the ongoing investigation.
Attoh, in his first post following Bettie’s murder, had tweeted:
“#ChrisAttoh When it comes to relationships, remaining faithful is never an option, but a priority. Loyalty is ever…”
The police have already released a composite sketch drawn from witnesses’ narration of what the unknown gunman looks like.
Shortly after Bettie’s death, it was revealed that she was married to a convicted drug pusher, Kedrick Jenifer, who is currently serving time. She was in the process of a divorce from Kedrick when she was murdered.
She got married to Attoh in October 2018 and hence was legally married to two men at the time of her death.
