UPDATE: Nigeria has 44 confirmed cases of Coronavirus

As of Tuesday, March 24, 2020, the total confirmed cases of coronavirus in Nigeria stood at 44. A total of four new cases were recorded by the close of the day.

According to update published on the website of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), out of the 44 cases, two have been discharged, one death recorded and leaving a total of 41 active cases.

Of the four new cases recorded on Monday, one was in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), one in Lagos State, one in Ogun State and one in Bauchi State

Overall, Lagos now have a total of 29 confirmed cases (27 active cases), FCT 8, Ogun 3, Ekiti 1, Oyo 1, Edo 1 and Bauchi 1.
