BY OUR EDITOR
A Nigerian artist has become an instant global celebrity, literally setting Twitter on fire with his portrait drawing of US President, Donald Trump.
Oyedele Adedokun Isaac more popularly known by his Twitter handle @Doks_Art had drawn a portrait of President Trump using his signature blue-coloured ballpoint.
He published the carbon copy image of the American president on Twitter and called his attention to it, praying, “This is my second portrait of President Trump. This time I really want him to see it. All done in ballpoint, took up to 70hours, ’24×21′ inches. Please RT till the president sees this.”
Mr Trump responded eight hours later on his verified Twitter handle @realDonaldTrump with effusive praise, acknowledging the artwork.
“Not only did I see it @Doks_Art, I think it is fantastic. You are a wonderful artist, never give up your dream!” President Trump twitted.
An extremely excited Adedokun replied: “Thank you President @realDonaldTrump you are a giant!”
The exchange between President Trump and Adedokun set the stage for a flurry of tweets and retweets with some urging the President to invite the Nigerian to White House.
