Three sentenced to death in 2019 murder of Afenifere leader’s daughter

The Ondo State High Court, Akure, has sentenced three persons to death for the murder of Mrs Funke Olakunrin, daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.

Justice Williams Olamide, on Friday, found the three guilty of murder, kidnapping and armed robbery and sentenced them to death.

The convicts are Awalu Abubakar, Muhammed Shehu and Adamu Adamu.

RELIABLESOURCENG.COM reports that the deceased was killed by the convicts along Benin-Ore-Shagamu Expressway, in the Ore-Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, in June 2019, on her way to Lagos State.
