The second batch of Nigerian returnees fleeing from xenophobic attacks in South Africa arrived in Nigeria on Wednesday.

The over 300 returnees arrived the Cargo Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 7.22 p.m. aboard Air Peace B-777 aircraft, with registration number 5N-BWI.

The aircraft had departed Oliver Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, at about 1p.m. after a long wait for landing permit from the South African authorities.
