Sani Dangote buried in Kano

Sani Dangote, younger brother of Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, and Vice Chairman of the Dangote Group of Companies, has been buried Wednesday in Kano.
The younger Dangote died on Sunday at a hospital in the United States, after a protracted illness. His body was said to have been flown back to Kano, Nigeria, on Wednesday morning.
The burial event took place at the palace of the Emir of Kano and was led by the Chief Imam of the palace, Sheikh Sani Muhammad.

He was buried at the family cemetery close to Sanusi Mosque at Koki in Kano metropolis.
Present at the burial were personalities from the political, business and religious communities from both within and outside Nigeria, led by Alhaji Aliko Dangote.
Also present, were the Kano State governor, Abdullahi Ganduje; Senate President, Ahmad Lawan and his predecessor, Bukola Saraki; Borno State governor, Babagana Zulum; DG DSS Yusuf Magaji Bichi and presidential spokesman Garba Shehu, among others.
