Nigerian singing sensation Sinach No.1 on Billboard’s Top 10, seven weeks on

Nigerian gospel sensation, Osinachi Okoro, popularly known by her stage name, Sinach, has become the first African to top Billboard Christian songwriters’ chart.

Sinach has been No.1 on the US Billboard’s Top 10 chart for Christian songwriters, for seven weeks and did not even realise!

She revealed on her Twitter handle @sinach: “So apparently we have been No.1 on Billboard USA for Christian song writer for 7 weeks!! Look at God!! First Black person; First from Africa … So grateful to God!! Thank you @billboard #loveworld @joe_egbu @integritymusic #waymaker #sponsoredbygrace.”

Sinach is No.1 on the chart ahead of other top American and international artists as Jason Ingram, Matthew West, Lauren Daigle, Paul Mabury, Chris Brown, Steven Furtick, Hank Bentley, Ethan Hulse and Jeff Pardo, No.2 – 10 in that order.
