Minister offers tips on strategic Christian evangelism post-Covid

The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) Alpha House, Baltimore, USA, recently organized her 2nd Annual Lecture Series titled, ‘Strategic and Effective Evangelism – Post Covid’.
The Church in a statement said the theme for this year’s lecture was informed by the changing dynamics of evangelism with the advent of covid, which has altered the mode of worship as traditional places of worship with the emergence of “virtual churches”.
The guest speaker for the 2022 lecture was Rev. Dolapo Tukuru, a consultant at the Lagos Business School (LBS), Nigeria.
In his address, he emphasized that the message of the Gospel is good news, and no one rejects good news. However, he advised Preachers, Pastors and the body of Christ – the church – at large to revisit how the good news is delivered.
He said even though covid became a threat to evangelism, it also presented an opportunity to embrace technology. He therefore advised churches to invest in technology, embrace sports and politics, engage and collaborate with the communities and share information.
