Lagos lawmaker slumps, dies at APC campaign flag-off in Jos

An All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmaker representing Mushin constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Sobur Olawale, has reportedly died while attending his party’s campaign flag-off in Jos, Plateau State, Tuesday.
Olawale, popularly known as Omititi, was said to have slumped and died.
A source within the Lagos APC confirmed to the media that Olawale slumped during the APC rally and was confirmed dead at the hospital where he was rushed to.
The APC had held a campaign inauguration in Plateau for its presidential candidate and running mate, Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, respectively, on Tuesday.
The cause of Omititi’s death is yet to be known.
