JUST IN: Tottenham sacks manager Jose Mourinho

 

English Premiership club, Tottenham has sacked its manager, Jose Mourinho, according to reports.

The Portuguese was said to have been relieved of his duties by chairman Daniel Levy after a disappointing campaign.

Spurs were dumped out of the Europa League in embarrassing circumstances, letting a 2-0 lead slip against Dinamo Zagreb and sit seventh in the Premier League table.

There has been a growing feeling that Mourinho would not be the manager next season, and Levy has decided to act now.
