Former president Goodluck Jonathan, was at the Aso Rock presidential villa today, July 21 on a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Jonathan, who just returned from Mali as leader of ECOWAS Special Envoy apparently was at the Presidential Villa, Abuja to brief the president on his mission.

He seized the opportunity of his visit to appreciate President Buhari who has just named the Agbor Railway Complex, Delta State, said to be the biggest station and major hub of the Itakpe-Warri railway line, after him.

“Let me use this opportunity to commend Mr. President publicly. I have already sent a letter to him appreciating (the honour). It’s a good gesture…

“Completing the railway (project) is good, it shows that the President is going on with the legacy of previous administrations, and that is the way to go.

“I appreciate it (the honour), I thank Mr President and the Minister of Transportation and all others who made it possible,” Jonathan said in an interview with the press after his meeting with President Buhari.
