First Lady Aisha Buhari sneaks back to Nigeria after six months absence
The First Lady, Aisha Buhari, is said to have returned to Nigeria after being away for about six months, without official explanation.
It was learnt that Mrs Buhari literally sneaked into the country on Wednesday evening and headed straight to the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The manner of her return may have informed the reason there has not been any formal confirmation of her return. But media reports quoting Presidency source who did not want his name mentioned gave credence to the story, saying, “Yes, madam is back.”

Nothing had been had from the First Lady in the last six months, even on her 50th birthday on February 18.
However, on March 8, she momentarily broke her long silence, when she sent goodwill message to Nigerian women on the International Women’s Day, via her Twitter handle, @Aishambuhari.
