EXCLUSIVE: How Pastor Ituah Ighodalo’s wife Ibidun died

BY NICHOLAS ABE
Details are beginning to emerge on how Mrs Ibidun Ighodalo, wife of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of Trinity House, Oniru, Victoria Island Extension, Lagos, died in the early hours of Sunday, June 14.
An informed source close to the Ighodalos told RELIABLESOURCENG.COM that the mother of two, a boy and a girl, died in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, at about 2am, while she was being rushed to the hospital.
She was said to have complained about not feeling too well, shortly after she got back to her hotel room in Port Harcourt, sometime after midnight.
The former beauty queen and owner of the popular event planning outfit, Elizabeth R, was said to be involved in the construction of isolation centres for the treatment of patients infected with coronavirus.

Our source revealed that she had been engaged by the Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID), a Nigerian private sector coalition led by business mogul and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote and Access Bank CEO/Managing Director, Herbert Wigwe, to raise funds and build structures in the fight against COVID-19.
We understand that she had built “a couple of the isolation centres” around the country and had travelled from Lagos by road to Port Harcourt where she was also building an isolation centre for COVID-19, a project funded by CACOVID.
Our source could not confirm the cause of death even though a particular media report attributed it to heart attack.
Her husband of 13 years, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, is said to be devastated, but has managed to visit her family home in Lagos to break the unfortunate news to members of the family.
