EFCC arrests Speaker Ogun State House of Assembly at Lagos airport

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reportedly arrested Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo at the Muritala Muhammad Airport, Lagos State, Thursday morning.
Oluomo was said to have been arrested over allegations bordering on financial crimes, RELIABLESOURCENG.COM learnt.
An Ogun State assembly source who pleaded anonymity said the speaker was picked up at the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, by EFCC operatives, following a tip-off.
The source said Oluomo was undergoing further interrogation in the custody of the commission.
He was said to have been on the wanted list of the commission following his failure to honour EFCC invitation several times, having been accused of forging signatures and financial documents of the assembly.
