COVID-19: Nigeria hits 305 as 17 new cases are confirmed

- As at 09:30pm on the 10th of April 2020, 17 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria, according to the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
- Till date, 305 cases have been confirmed, 58 cases have been discharged and seven deaths have been recorded.
- The 17 new cases are reported from two states – Lagos (8), Katsina (3), FCT (2), Niger (1), Kaduna (1), Anambra (1) and Ondo (1).
- A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities, the NCDC said.

It added that three cases previously included as Lagos state cases have been transferred to Ogun State. The three cases live in satellite towns in Ogun close to Lagos.
“Therefore, Lagos State has reported 163 confirmed cases while Ogun State has reported 7 confirmed cases,” the NCDC affirmed.
