COVID-19: Nigeria confirms 220 new cases, 17 deaths

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday said Nigeria recorded a total of 220 new confirmed cases of coronavirus and 17 deaths.
Cross River and Kogi states have yet to record any case.
According to the NCDC, 2,388 cases have been confirmed, 385 cases discharged and 85 deaths have been recorded in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
The 220 new cases are reported from 18 states and the FCT in the following order: Lagos (62), FCT (52), Kaduna (31), Sokoto (13), Kebbi (10), Yobe (9), Borno (6), Edo (5), Bauchi (5), Gombe (4), Enugu (4), Oyo (4), Zamfara (3), Nasarawa (2), Osun (2), Ebonyi (2), Kwara (2), Kano (2) and Plateau (2).

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities, the NCDC announced in an update Thursday.
