BREAKING: Nigeria records 8 new cases of Coronavirus

- Lagos tops list with 24 cases, 2 discharged
Nigeria, as at the time of this update, has recorded 30 confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease, according to the latest update issued by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
So far, eight new cases have been recorded today, March 22, 2020. Five was announced earlier in the day and additional three have just been announced.
Out of the 30 cases, two have been discharged and there has been no death recorded from the COVID-19 in Nigeria, the NCDC stated.
Of the eight new cases today, six are in Lagos State, one in Oyo State and one in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
“A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities,” the agency said.
