The governor had directed all his aides and appointees to go for COVID-19 tests, following the confirmation that he had tested positive.

According to The Punch, an aide to the governor, who craved anonymity, revealed the First Lady’s COVID-19 result, on Thursday.
“Yes Mama’s (first lady) result has come and it was positive. One of the security men attached to the governor is also positive and has been asked to go on isolation,” the source was quoted as saying.
It was gathered that Mrs Akeredolu has been on self-isolation for the past few days and did not attend any function.
