Abba Kyari’s successor Disu wins silver medal at U.S. Judo Championship
DCP Disu showcases his silver medal, won at the U.s. Open Judo Championship.

The Commander of the elite Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT), Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Tunji Disu, has joined the rank of athletes making Nigeria proud in the international circuit.

Disu, who replaced the former Commander of the IRT, DCP Abba Kyari, currently being prosecuted for his alleged involvement in cocaine deal, won a silver medal on Sunday, at the 33rd U.S Open Judo Championship in Brookline, Massachusetts.

The 56-year-old former Commander of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of Lagos State Police Command, won in the Judo Fighter category.
