There is rejoicing in the home of Nigeria’s first family. And First Lady, Aisha Buhari, is leading the way.

One of President Muhammadu Buhari’s daughters who had gone into self-isolation 14 days ago when she returned from UK, is out and apparently without any cause for alarm over coronavirus infection.

The First Lady, who had earlier announced her daughter’s isolation, unable to contain her joy, took to her Twitter handle Thursday to spread the good news.

“It is a thing of joy and gratitude to Almighty God to reunite with my daughter after she had been in isolation for 14 days, immediately she landed in Nigeria.

“While I’m wishing all those infected for a speedy recovery, I pray for the end of this pandemic,” Mrs Buhari tweeted.

The First Lady’s tweet was accompanied with an equally emotional picture of mother and daughter in a hearty embrace.
